Concept for Bully Hill
I'm working on creating Bully Hill from bones. These bones I've taken from Barron's Anatomy Flash Cards, just to work out the idea. I've ripped the bones apart and then created 2 drawings (last 2 drawings) in Photoshop CS3. I've also included an abstract sketch of mine to show the style I'll be drawing the piece in (top photo).

Syd Barrett
Ah, Syd Barrett! A worn out sketch it is. When I scribbled this one out, there was a guy I know sitting across from me in the cafe, late one night. He mentioned something about it being "too feminine." In fact, it was so "feminine" that he bothered another patron about it. I wonder why. Who knows.(2007)

Jonathan Davis Again
Yeah, it's another Jonathan Davis piece. The guy is so hot he melts even the most frigid heart. Graphite on paper. (2006)
Another Pete Doherty Sketch
Yeah, Doherty is definitely an interesting face to draw. Can't help it. He's like the worst addiction I've ever encountered next to refined sugars. Graphite on paper. (2006)
Pete Doherty Sketch
Wow, I remember when I first discovered Pete Doherty. He was still with the Libertines! Such a cutey, all the while being a hot mess! Graphite on paper. (2006)

Guinness
No need for introductions here--this friend has been around forever! Undergrad, grad, post-grad, work, unemployment, in sickness and health - through the gamut of bfs - we had a passionate love affair, but sadly, I'm a controlled social drinker now. It's just for the taste, really. (2005)

Self Portrait
Jonathan Davis
Jonathan Davis. Guy is hot--what else can I say? The mural is watercolor on an old plaster wall. (2005)
Hand
It's a poor photograph, but it shows a hand dipped in watercolor and then placed upon a canvas. (2004)
Horse
Heroin. Afghani battlefields. The Giant White Horse in your living room that friends and family fail to acknowledge because you make it so difficult. (2004)
Bride
I've spent a few days tagging along with a wedding photographer or two, watching how the ritual is played out. One of the stock photos the bride often gets involves putting her makeup on (though she's already had it professionally done). It's interesting, given that now, people are starting to question whether makeup poisons our skin. Note also the blood on the gown, summing up just exactly how much the bride is worth. (2004)

Computer Screen
The photo is from a series that focused on blood. The ancient computer screen (which I was still using at the time) was covered in multiple layers of watercolour "blood." At the time, I was using an obsolete computer with Photoshop 7. Ah, the memories. (2004)
